Service Agreement — Terms & Conditions

Read carefully. These terms protect both you and us.

At Foam Bros, we take pride in our work and we treat every vehicle like it's our own. These terms exist to make sure everyone is on the same page before we get started — no surprises, no fine print games. By scheduling and proceeding with your appointment after receiving these terms, you acknowledge and agree to everything below.

1. Scope of Services

We'll perform exactly the services listed on your job ticket — nothing more, nothing less. If you want to add something after we've started, no problem. We'll quote it on the spot and get your approval (verbal or written) before moving forward. Any verbal approvals are logged on your job ticket.

2. Pre-Existing Damage

Before we touch your vehicle, we complete a Pre-Detail Vehicle Inspection Report — photographed and documented. This protects you and us. Foam Bros is not responsible for any damage, defects, scratches, chips, dents, stains, tears, odors, or other conditions that existed prior to service. The signed inspection report is the definitive record of your vehicle's condition at intake.

3. Liability Limitation

Our liability for any claim arising from services rendered is limited to the total price paid for the specific service that caused the claim. We are not liable for:

  1. Pre-existing damage of any kind
  2. Mechanical, electrical, or structural issues present or discovered during service
  3. Damage to aftermarket accessories, modifications, or items not factory-installed
  4. Personal property left in the vehicle
  5. Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

4. Paint & Surface Disclaimer

Heavily oxidized, faded, thin, previously repaired, or repainted surfaces can respond unpredictably to polishing, correction, or coating processes. We'll always exercise professional care and flag anything we notice during your pre-service walkthrough — but we can't guarantee specific outcomes on compromised paint. We'll talk through realistic expectations before we start.

5. Interior Surface Disclaimer

We're not responsible for dye transfer, color fading, shrinkage, or surface damage that results from cleaning heavily soiled, aged, cracked, or previously treated leather, vinyl, fabric, or carpet. If your interior is in rough shape, we'll let you know upfront.

If a vehicle is significantly more soiled than originally quoted, we'll reach out before proceeding with any additional charges. You'll always have the chance to approve or adjust scope before we continue.

6. Personal Property

Please remove all valuables and important personal items from your vehicle before your appointment. Anything left inside is at your own risk. Foam Bros assumes no liability for lost or damaged personal items, even if they were noted on the inspection report.

We'll remind you of this before your appointment — but ultimately it's on you to clear the car out.

7. Payment & Approval of Work

Payment in full (or payment of the remaining balance after deposit) constitutes your confirmation and approval of the work performed. By paying, you acknowledge that services were rendered as agreed and that you are satisfied with the scope of work completed.

8. Cancellation & No-Show Policy

We block time specifically for your appointment, so last-minute changes affect our whole day. Here's how it works:

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice: deposit is forfeited.
  • No-shows (no contact within 30 minutes of your scheduled time): deposit is fully forfeited and a new deposit may be required to rebook.
  • If we need to cancel or reschedule due to weather, equipment issues, or anything on our end: your deposit is carried forward or refunded in full — no hassle.

9. Warranty & Quality Guarantee

We stand behind our work, period. If something isn't right, you have 24 hours from the time of service completion to contact us and flag the issue. We'll verify it and make it right at no additional charge.

This warranty does not apply to:

  1. Re-soiling or damage that occurs after delivery
  2. Damage caused by the client post-service
  3. Outcomes tied to pre-existing paint or surface conditions discussed at intake

After the 24-hour window, we're unable to verify whether an issue existed at time of service — so please reach out promptly if something's off.

10. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to stop or refuse service at any point if: (a) the vehicle poses a safety or health hazard; (b) the actual scope of work significantly exceeds what was quoted; or (c) a client is abusive or threatening toward our team. In any of these cases, completed work will be charged at the applicable rate.

11. Photography & Marketing

We photograph every vehicle before and after service for quality control purposes. Unless you opt out in writing, we may use those before/after images for marketing — social media, our website, portfolio, etc. We will never publish your license plate, VIN, or any personally identifying vehicle information.

To opt out, indicate this in writing before your appointment begins.

12. Appointment Confirmation as Agreement

By scheduling your appointment and proceeding with service after these Terms & Conditions have been sent to you — whether by text, email, or any other written communication — you are confirming that you have read, understood, and agree to all terms outlined in this document. This constitutes a legally binding acknowledgment equivalent to a written signature.

You do not need to physically sign this document for it to be enforceable. Proceeding with your appointment is your agreement.

13. Dispute Resolution

If something goes sideways, we ask that you reach out to us directly first. Most issues can be resolved quickly and without any formality. If we can't resolve it informally, any dispute will be governed by the laws of the state of California. By agreeing to these terms, you waive the right to participate in any class action lawsuit against Foam Bros Mobile Detailing.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, together with your job ticket and Pre-Detail Vehicle Inspection Report, represent the full agreement between you and Foam Bros Mobile Detailing. They supersede any prior verbal or written representations. Any modifications must be agreed to in writing by both parties.
