Our first step is a complete scrub down of your tires, rims, wheel wells, and fender wells, using a variety of brushes to make sure your entire wheel is addressed properly.

The second step is a thorough hand wash, which includes the door jambs, gas cap, and removal of all bugs on the front end of your vehicle.

Our third step is a clay mitt decontamination of your entire vehicle, lifting embedded contaminants that can't be removed with just a hand wash.

Our fourth step is to use our dedicated iron remover to chemically remove any iron particles that may be embedded in your paint, ensuring we have a clean surface to polish.

To start the paint correction process, our fifth step is the compound phase, where we use our machine polisher and a compound product to remove a majority of imperfections.

Our sixth step is the polishing phase, which will increase the shine and clarity by removing micro-scratches left over from the compound phase.

Once we are done polishing your paint, our seventh step is a isopropyl alcohol wipedown, sanitizing your paint and removing any left over residue that might be hiding any imperfections.

Based on your choice of ceramic coating, we professionally install a ceramic coating lasting anywhere from 2-10 years.

Simply put, ceramic coatings can be likened to a wax on steroids. Ceramic coatings have many of the same benefits as a wax or sealant, however the benefits of a ceramic coating are typically much more enhanced and long-lasting.

Do you come to me?

Yes! We are mobile based, so we can clean your vehicle at your home, apartment, or work location. We service the greater Monterey County area, including areas such as Monterey, Seaside, Marina, Pacific Grove, Prunedale, Castroville, Hollister, Watsonville, Salinas, Carmel, Pebble Beach, Gonzales, and Soledad. Can I Wash My Car After the Coating is Installed?

After a ceramic coating has been applied, your vehicle should not be exposed to moisture for 48 hours after the installation, giving the ceramic coating sufficient time to cure. Exposure to moisture within the first two days of installation can lead to a reduction in effectiveness, and down the road, premature failure of the ceramic coating.

How Does Paint Correction Differ From Polishing?

Polishing is a part of the process of paint correction, usually performed after the compound phase, which removes a majority of the imperfections in your vehicle's paint. The polish phase removes smaller scratches, with more of an emphasis on increasing the shine of your vehicle.

Will Ceramic Protect Against Rock Chips?

No, ceramic coatings are not a viable solution to protecting your vehicle's front end from rock chips. Being that ceramic coatings are too thin to absorb the impact of rock chips, the best solution to protect your paint against rock chips would be a paint protection film.

Can Paint Correction Remove All Scratches and Imperfections?

The short answer is no. There are some scratches and imperfections that go beyond the clear coat and paint, making them impossible to remove with a standard paint correction process. Another thing to consider is the thickness of your paint; newer cars tend to have thinner paint, making it a lot easier to "burn" through the clear coat and paint.

Do you need access to water?

If we are working at your home location, we might be required to use your spigot, if you have one. If we're working at your apartment or work location, we have made the appropriate arrangements to be able to service your vehicle without a spigot!

What Tools and Products Are Used in a Paint Correction?

Apart from the standard detailing equipment needed to perform the decontamination process leading up to the paint correction process, we use a variety of compounds, polishes, machine buffers, towels, and lights to correct your vehicle's paint. Every car is different and requires a personalized approach with different tools and chemicals.
